The b43 driver leaves its /sysfs/ directory empty, and drakconnect fails to map the network interface (wlan0) to corresponding driver, and this makes the firmware installation part to fail. I only discovered it after a few hours of digging into it.</p> <p>So in theory this fix should also make other cards which have the same problem (almost empty /sysfs directory) to work too.
